Hajime Sakauchi
At just 16 years old, Hajime was the youngest player to make it into 2A finals at this years World Yo-Yo Contest! Hajime has a fast and efficient style of 2A play that wowed the crowd during his first ever appearance on the worlds stage, earning him 3rd place with a final score of 65.3, only 3.3 points away from 2nd place. After earning 3rd place in his first World Yo-Yo Contest we see such a bright future for Hajime and can’t wait to see it happen!
Yoshihiro Abe
Coming from Sapporo, Japan, Yoshihiro was one of the crowd's favorite players competing in the 5A division at the World Yoyo Contest. Not only did Yoshihiro make finals, but he also performed an amazing routine, getting 2nd place in finals with a score of 88.4, just 1.9 points shy of winning. Yoshi brings an electric style of 5A play mixed with his incredibly original tricks, we have no doubt after his 3rd place WYYC routine in 2018, 2nd place WYYC in 2019, 2020 might just be the year Yoshihiro takes home the gold!
